Potential candidates are asked to contact:

  • Latest CV including date of birth
  • Certificate of your doctoral degree

Further steps

  1. TheEU GrantsAccesscontacts the candidate and informs him/her whether he/she can formally apply for an ERC Starting Grant. If so, the candidate will be asked to send a CV and a research proposalto afull or associate professor at the D-MATHwho is willing to be a potential mentor.
    Note: Internal assistant professors do not need a mentor.
  2. After the application has been evaluated the candidate will be informed by the potential导师关于这个决定。我f it is positive, the candidate will get the real estate form which he has to fill in partially and then send back to theDepartment Administration.
  3. TheDepartment Administrationwill send the signedreal estate formand the support letter from the Chair of Department to the candidate.
  4. Then thecandidatecan get in touch with theERC team of the ETH Zürichwho will support him/her in the whole process of getting theERC Starting Grant.
