Three doctoral students honoured with ETH Medals

Matija Bucićhas received the ETH Medal for his doctoral thesis entitled:Local to global phenomenon and other topics in probabilistic and extremal combinatorics. He was a doctoral student ofBenjamin Sudakovin theData, Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimizationgroup.

Erik Orvehed Hiltunen

Erik Orvehed Hiltunenhas received the ETH Medal for his doctoral thesis entitled:Asymptotic analysis of high-contrast subwavelength resonator structures. He was a former doctoral student of Habib Ammari at the Seminar of Applied Mathematics.

Samuel Lanthaler

Samuel Lanthalerhas received the ETH Medal for his doctoral thesis entitled:Computation and analysis of statistical solutions of the incompressible Euler equations.He was a doctoral student of Siddhartha Mishra and is now a lecturer at the Seminar for Applied Mathematics.
